Dear Students and Parents,
If you will be new to East Ridge High School
in the fall, let me be the first, on behalf of our returning members, parents, staff and directors to welcome you to the Knights
Band Family! I am sure that you will enjoy your time in the Band at East Ridge High School and we look forward
to working with you, the 2009-2010 school year. As always, if you have

As you are aware, one of the most important parts
of insuring the continued success of our Marching Band is Band Camp! We have a few camps scheduled this summer. Please
click on summer dates and times on this page for groups you are involved and please plan accordingly. All students should
report to the East Ridge Band Room for all band camps. The first camp is Music Camp for three days on June 23-25.
The purpose is for students to check out instruments to practice on over the summer and to learn marching band music they
will play for the show in the fall. The second camp is Night Camp to be held July 20-24 for all color guard, percussion
section, freshmen, sophomores and all officers (cost $25.00).
The main Band Camp is August 3-6 (cost $50.00).
It is important that everyone be present at this camp as the students will learn fundamentals that we will build
upon during the entire marching season will be taught at this camp. If you have a conflict, please communicate with
Mr. Hart so we can plan accordingly. We are all extremely excited about the band program and look forward to a bright
